Meet Joshua Waschak, DC
Joshua Waschak earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University in St Louis, Missouri, graduating with high honors. Logan University is a leader in Chiropractic technique and research, and broadens the scientific foundation of the chiropractic profession. Dr. Waschak specializes in Logan Basic and Sacro Occipital Technic, which are low-force adjusting techniques for a more comfortable application of care. This is crucial for fibromyalgia and chronic pain management.

Dr. Waschak is happy to bring these unique adjusting styles to the Island of Maui, to help the people here flourish and reach their fullest potential. Located in Kihei, near the beautiful southern beaches, he serves guests and the staff at the Four Seasons resort and offers home visits by appointment.
​
As an expert in ergonomic workspace evaluation, Dr. Waschak is able to come alongside corporations, small businesses, and individual patients to instruct employees in movement and proper body dynamics. Currently he works with Four Seasons Maui and Marriott's Wailea Beach Resort to aid in the prevention of workplace injury and identification and correction of existing conditions. OSHA and Blue Cross studies show a 70% reduction in time off work and healthcare costs, in the 5 and 10 year timeframe after ergonomic training was received.

Dr. Waschak graduated from Westmont College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. During this time he focused on organic chemistry and biochemistry. He uses this, along with his chiropractic training, to inform his nutritional supplementation recommendations.

Outside the office activities include flying as
a private pilot, SCUBA Diving, kayaking,
rock climbing, hiking and keeping fish.
